It was time again for the legendary one hour classic in Lake Garda.
Since the late 80’s this legendary race is taking place in Lake Garda, with GPS coordinates two marks are set on each side of the lake and for one hour it’s the goal to make as many rounds as possible.
Sadly during the three days of wind we only managed to do a single race on the foil. Usually we’d do at least one hour of fin and one hour of foil each day!
On the positive note I was very happy to be on the podium in front of some other fast PWA guys, showing that this year my pace on the foil is really looking a lot better. The wind was ranging from 5 to 17 knots, but the gear was simply delivering all the time!
Results:
1. Thomas Goyard (FRA-3)
2. Matteo Iachino (ITA-140)
3. Jordy Vonk (NED-69)
