We had to add Ultimate to the name, because that’s what is was!
60+ people from 15+ countries joined our Defi Wind Experience this year and it surpassed our expectations: what an amazing group and great vibes we had!
Together with the whole Surfcenter Crew, Nico Prien, Blanca Alabau, Twan Verseput and Femke van der Veen we worked hard to prepare all people in the best way possible for the biggest windsurf race in the world: The Defi Wind. We gave them a physical schedule, hosted a theory evening, created a community, answered all their questions, hit the water with them and even organized a practice race with a couple hundred people joining. Words can basically not describe how awesome it was! To get the vides it’s probably better to watch the video below!
Sadly the wind wasn’t on our side during the Defi Wind and no official races has been done, but the experience was amazing and I’m sure everybody will get to compete next year!
